As the coin has gotten more popular, the hash rate has gone up so much that solo mining is probably a waste of electricity, at least if you’re on normal desktop and laptop computers. If that’s what you have, use a mining pool. We’re leaving the below information here for historical interest.)

SOLO MINING

Download wallet

Unzip it.

Download this tiny zip file.

Unzip it and put it in

C:\Users\zzzzz\AppData\Roaming\Kratom

(where zzzzz is replaced with your computer user name.)

To find your appdata kratom folder:
Windows key + R to type in %appdata%

Then the wallet will mine when your run it. You can verify it’s running by hitting CTRL ALT DEL

and look at the Processes tab, and it should be high, like in the 90% – 100%

Using this much of your CPU will make your computer very warm. If it’s not set up for mining, cool it.

For desktops: open the case and put another fan blowing inside it.

For laptops: put it up something to get an inch of airflow below it, and point a fan blowing at the side so air is getting above it and below it.

They will mature and be confirmed in 260 blocks.

You can hover your mouse over then transaction (the leaf on the top right, the leaf shows up for mining transactions). It will tell you how many blocks to confirm your wonderful Kratom so you can spend or HODL it.
