I hope you don't mind the little modification I made to your page. I thought I'd match up the formatting for our praxis pages with the rest of deoxy's formatting, as best as I could. I also moved your toc to the top right. Let me know what you think about it! Feel free to change it back ;) Don't mean to step on any toes :) |

The Praxis event went ahead. Not many people logged on for the streamed talk, a few more for the question and answer session. In the future we could try and make more people aware of PraxisEvents. A barrier to participation may be ventrillo. Perhaps introduce ventrillo separately from Praxis. Introduce ventrillo first. Then introduce the combination of vent + irc, then praxis which is vent + irc + streaming audio + some focus. an event. |
Glandmaster suggested making people aware of praxis on sites other than deoxy. first i think we could try deoxy saturation, if that is acceptable. the reaction we may want is : "shut up about praxis" rather than "praxis, huh ? wiki ? what's that " |
I thought the combination of streaming audio + irc was very good. comments and relevant links could be added as the talk went along in real time. quite amazing. as glandmaster said, imagine you could watch a film and do that. the technology is available, we just have to be more intelligent about using it. |

i would have attended if i knew how to properly convert the time. i'm not very smart. i thought the talk itself was top-notch though. way to go, merl! i agree with you regarding both the mechanics of praxis and advertising the event. just my five cents. looking forward to the next praxis... |

No problem groucho. Since this was the first event and there wasn't a large audience it was suggested that we could do it again if there is sufficient interest. It was thought that choosing Saturday afternoon/evening could have been part of the reason there wern't many people logged on. Also groucho has pointed out that we could post the times in different time zones. |
Anyone who is interested in a repeat of Praxis/Qabalah please post here to make your interest known. Also anyone who posts could include a time and day that they would prefer and we can see if any days are particularly popular or unpopular. |
