History of DEOXY-Exhibition Talk

Nice idea - I have some feedback:

*The name is a bit odd I think - we know its on deoxy and as its the wiki its obvious its our art / art selections. I think a more descriptive and more fun name could be arrived at - something that says photography exhibition but isnt that dull ;) (Its a simple thing to change dont worry). Maybe its why lostatlast made a page called 'Art' :D

*My second point has been niggling me since Moz made his [http://deoxy.org/wiki/User/Moz user page]. How can we make tons of images look good on a wiki page? My argument is the same here as on Moz's page - each individual image is great but together they make a ugly slow to load mess. I am not sure what to suggest - does it need a new [http://deoxy.org/wiki/WikiTemplates template] to make it easy or do we need a simple gallery function to be added? Discuss!

*Lastly even if we ignore the first two points I think it would be nice to organise the pics by artist or submitter and provide some sources. Part of the joy of going to a themed exhibition is seeing how the individual artists / editors interpret it and sources where relevant will allow the reader to explore as they see fit.

I would like to insist on the title 'DEOXY-Exhibition', because it makes it clear that it's a special deoxy(!)-edition of deoxyans(!). it might be that this exhibitions will be quoted/mentioned elsewhere and then the term 'deoxy' in the title will be important/deciding.

and as I said in my recent visuality-forum-announcement: the reason why I didn't name each artist at his work is because I want to shift the emphasis from the work of one author to the collective creation. but I see slowly that some changes regarding this topics would be necessary - but feel free to edit the wiki yourself. to add comments or add your nicks at the pics.

well, basicly I wanted to open some venues where all are invited to contribute/add/edit. but concidere this only as a shematic concept of me - so yes, let's talk about it here. but right now I can't think any more.

GlandZ - yes, I agree about the comments you've made. but I am a tech-banana basicly, so I would have to study your proposals. but if I understand you right (?) - 'template', 'gallery function' - this would make it easier and more elegant to view and edit/design this pages. so of course I am for it, totally.

oh and...DEOXY-Exhibition title. GlandZ - it's ot only about photography. maybe someone will want to 'exhibit' some other type of his art-works, not only photography. actually 'The Magic Fractal' is already ot photography any more. and someone will mabe exhibit some photos/reproductions of his/hers paintings, or sculptures, or some kind of interacive art. so I believe the title 'DEOXY-Exhibition' as the first part of the title is suitable for all this variations. LIKE IN 'REAL' ART SYSTEM. and I made on purpose such not-descriptive 'sub-titles' of DEOXY-Exhibition(S), since it's more poetic. well, I stil think 'DEOXY-Exhibition' as the first part of the title of all further exhibitions is not a bad idea. (heh, finally I realised how to refer my nick here to my profile...I learn, but slowly...x)~~~Profile:Asenav~~~
